Hello and welcome to this page. I thought I would introduce myself, my studies, and my therapeutic practice, hoping you find this information helpful.
My name is Netos Dimitrios, I am a psychologist-psychotherapist, and my practice is located in Evosmos, Thessaloniki. Among other things, I am interested in helping people who face problems with the use and abuse of addictive substances, as well as issues related to anxiety, depression, and self-improvement.
The theory on which I base my therapeutic discussions is Narrative Therapy. Narrative Therapy posits that perceptions, meanings, and consequently, the problems people face, are constructed through stories and meanings they create as they interact in society and in their relationships.
At the same time, my approach is integrative and based on my training in integrative psychotherapy. This means that I utilize elements from different therapeutic models, depending on the needs and uniqueness of each individual. Integrative psychotherapy is not limited to a single theoretical framework but seeks flexibility and personalization of therapy. In this way, the therapeutic process is more substantially adapted to the individual’s experience, goals, and personal life context.
